A bit later, we passed by Jupiter Inlet. The color of the water near the inlet was the most beautiful we have seen in a long time – it was so turquoise it almost looked fake – like someone had added food coloring to the water.
We got to Stuart and the St. Lucie Inlet earlier than we had planned and since it was such a beautiful day for travel, we decided to continue on to Fort Pierce. A quick call to Harbortown Marina in Fort Pierce and they assured us that they had slips for us for the night. As we continued on past the St. Lucie Inlet we were thrilled to have dolphins swimming in Boreas’ wake again. I tried to get pictures, but was not really successful. We managed to get tied up at Harbortown marina just before a huge downpour. It rained most of the night, but we were snug and dry in Boreas.
