Today we were up early, checked out shortly after 7:00am and off the dock by 7:30am. We don’t have all that many miles to travel today, but we do have 19 bridges and 8 or 9 of them will have to open for us.
This stretch of the Atlantic ICW is one beautiful town after another. Although I know that the Cape Coral area of Florida is known for its canals, I had no idea that this part of Florida had canals as well. The homes on these canals are beautiful (and big) and many of them have a fabulous boat moored in their deep-water slip. It certainly makes traveling here a feast for the eyes.
