Day 332 – at Chesapeake Yacht Club, Shady Side, MD - June 2, 2012

We spent a restful and relaxing day at the Chesapeake Yacht Club.  It was quite windy all day, so being at a dock was comfortable.  We were surprised how many boats came and anchored here at the end of West River (almost into South Creek) just off the yacht club.  However, it is Saturday and we know that lots of people who keep their boats in the Chesapeake Bay go to an anchorage and hang out every weekend – this is clearly one of those spots.

We got a few boat chores done today including some cleaning on the bridge and inside the boat as well as taking care of a couple of loads of laundry.  We also did some planning for the next few days – trying to figure out which harbors and anchorages we might want to visit before we leave Chesapeake Bay.
