Day 275 – at Jekyll Harbor Marina, Jekyll Island, GA - April 6, 2012

Our original plan for today was to travel about 35 miles north to an anchorage at New Teakettle Creek.  Unfortunately there is a wind advisory for our area for today with expectations of winds over 25mph with gusts to 40mph.  We decide that we don’t want to be at anchor in that much wind, so we pay for an extra night here on Jekyll Island.  We did have a chance to do a few boat and shore chores (boat waxing and laundry), so the day was not a complete loss.
