Day 336 – anchorage in Lovely Creek to Rock Hall Landing Marina, Rock Hall, MD - June 6, 2012

It was an easy trip back down the Chester River today and then just six miles north of the mouth of the river to Rock Hall.  We got lots of errands done while we were in Rock Hall including a trip to West Marine and the grocery store.  Later we walked back into town for dinner.

It was a slightly unsettled night as we were on the end of a dock and the wind was making big enough waves that the waves were hitting the side of the boat and rocking us against the dock.  The fenders did their job so nothing on the boat was rubbing the dock, but the boat was moving a lot.  It was a bit uncomfortable – not like being rocked to sleep, more like when the rocking chair bangs against the wall.

it was a very high 'high tide' this morning with coastal flooding predicted -
many of the docks we saw along Langford Creek were underwater
